As a programmer I always try to make my programs as simple and
easy to use as posible. As with all 2nd Rate Software programs,
they perform well and are simple.
1. Create a New Data File: This is one of the most important
functions of this program. The Mailing List Manager needs a
Data File to store your addresses in. To create a new data file
type 1 then press Enter. Enter a name at the cursor then
press Enter. (max 8 letters) This action creates a new data
file and tells the computer to tune into the new file you just
created. Notice the computer monitor displays the Main Menu
again and is displaying your new data file in the lower left
corner as the Current File.
2. Select Data File: This function is used to select a new
Current File. If you want to add addresses to one of your data
files you must first tell your computer which data file to tune
into. The existing data files are automatically displayed at the
left side of your screen. Simply type the desired data file as
displayed on the left side of the screen and press Enter.
3. Print Return Labels: This function will print a desired
quantity of Return Address Labels for you. Simply enter 3 and
press Enter. The Return Address Label Print Utility screen will
pop up and ask you how many return labels you desire, enter the
quantity desired and press Enter. The next prompt explains itself.
Note, this function prints a pre-saved return address, see step 5.
4. Print Outgoing Labels: First make sure you have selected a
current file as in step 2. Press 4 and press Enter this brings
you to the Outgoing Address Label Print Utility, follow the
instructions on the screen.
5. Enter Return Address Data: Press 5 then press Enter, this
brings you to the Data Entry Screen. Four lines are provided
for your return address data. After entering the four lines of
data the program asks you is data correct, if correct type Y
then press Enter.
6. Enter Outgoing Address Data: First make sure you have selected a current file. Press 6 then press Enter, this brings
you to a data entry screen. Four lines are provided for
your outgoing address labels. Enter the address data as needed,
after filling out the last line, the program asks is data correct,
answer Y if correct. The next question is do you wish to enter
another label, answer as needed. To speed up the process, simply
press Enter to answer Yes.
7. View a File: First make sure you have selected a current file.
Press 7 then press Enter. This utility is used to view a file entry
by entry. If you find an entry you would like to remove from the
current file make note of it, function 8 can remove that entry for
you. After the last entry the computer will return to the Main Menu.
8. Delete an Entry: This function removes selected entries from
the current data file. Simply enter the Name or contents of the first
line and press Enter.
9. Quicky Label: Four lines are provided for a label. After the
fourth line is entered, the Is Data Correct line appears as before
answer. If you answer Y the label setup message comes up then
label can be printed. This function does not save the label data
to disk and only prints the label one time.
Remember this is Shareware, Not FREE Software. If you like and
